Princess Newman: Now in 3D!!

First, i have to thank those that were able to come with us to share such an amazing experience. It was early for a Saturday morning and we appreciate ya'll taking the time to be there with us. We are so glad that we were able to take advantage of this technology and we have to thank Brett and Lindsey for encouraging us to do this by showing us the pictures from their own 3D session.

It is hard to put into words. Such a tiny little life. So independent in the way she is content to be all alone inside the womb, yet so dependant on her mom for life giving support. It makes you wonder what they think about in there. At least now we have an idea of what it is like for her.

To see her in realistic color and three dimensions, to see those facial features with the little eyelids and pudgy cheeks, to see her little fingers, to see the hair on her head, to see what the kicking looks like from the inside....how amazing is that?!?!

What a great job this guy Brian has. Everyday he sees the amazement on the faces of parents, grandparents and friends. Can you imagine? Everyday his customers are smiling and laughing, oohing and awing. What a job it must be, to be the one to bring such amazing images to people everyday.

Of course, Marilyn was smiling the whole time. Brian doesn't do any medical analysis, but he did say that she has strong bones (of course, Marilyn and I are "big boned", so that makes sense). We did get to hear the heart beating as well. At that point, Marilyn went into "super smile" mode.

I was really focused on the screen and what the tech was saying, but i heard some comments from the peanut gallery. There was discussion of which parts looked like which parent, etc. Tim and Bridgette brought their kids and they behaved so well. I don't know if they knew what they were watching but it seemed like the younger ones were intrigued. Of course, that could have been the fact that you could put anything on a 100 inch screen and you'll get the attention of little ones.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then these pictures are worth millions of words. Beyond description, these images conjure up emotion, intrigue, fascination, wonder and amazement without even beginning to tell of the physical characteristics.

A tiny little life with a big fan club on the outside, amazed that we can peer into her world for a few minutes and just feel good about the moment. Truly amazing.

Did i mention that it was amazing?
